Iksar: Reptilian Tyrants
The iksar are a creation of Cazic-Thule, the God of Fear. Physically,
they are reptilian in nature, with scaley skin that give them the protection
that chain mail would other races. Their fearsome appearance with a broad
snout full of razor-sharp teeth, large hypnotic eyes, head fringes that
flair in battle and their powerful lashing tails have brought fear to
many armies of Norrath's past. Their coloring are two toned, ranging from
dark brownish black with red through orange and yellow.
This entire race's appearance is formidable as they seem dressed for
battle on every occasion, their armor dark to aid them in movements through
the night and shadows. The iksar innate wisdom make them powerful priests,
while their inherent agility and intellect make them skilled scouts or
mages.

Background:
The iksar were originally slaves of the Shissar on the continent of Kunark.
The Shissar exanded their empire far and wide, experimenting with many
dark magical arts, many on their own slaves. However, they angered their
own gods and a plague was brought down upon them that completely wiped
them from the face of Norrath. At the end of the Shissar empire, there
were five tribes of the iksar who rose to repalce their former masters
and formed the Sebilisian Empire, controlling Kunark with a fierceness
and might equal to that of the original Rallosian Empire on Antonica.
Their history of enslavement and isolation has caused the race to despise
outsiders and depend only on each other. The architecture and design of
the iksar is exemplified in Sebilis, Cabilis and the City of Mist, revealing
a penchant for simple yet majestic structures and minimalist design. As
a race, the iksar embody perhaps the purest form of evil on Norrath. Rather
than display petty corruption or spite, they hate. They kill methodically
without qualm and do not hide their hatred for any other race but themselves.
Faith
During the Sebilisian Empire, the iksar maintained a fierce devotion
to their maker, Cazic-Thule. They based their culture on his doctrines
of Fear, honoring that primal influence in every aspect of their lives,
especially in divine matters.
