Minimum Level: 40
This quest involves several steps for Rukir Pineleaf, during
which you are attacked mercilessly!

Rukir is a halfling that lives in a hut in Rivervale. He
requests that you track down and obtain the horns of one hundred
Nightbloods. Have you ever seen a Nightblood?!? They are fierce
creatures, with fire in their eyes! But alas, Rukir promises
great wealth if you do this task for him...
All around him you will find many of these creatures. Be
careful though... sometimes, they are very aggressive and it is
difficult to get one alone to pummel him! Day or night does not
matter, they are always thirsting for blood.

Once you have resolved at least a small portion
of the infestation of Nightbloods and obtained their horns, you
return to Rukir. And blast it all if that little pipsqueak needs
something else! Personally, I think he is a bit uneasy that the
Nightbloods did not wipe you out! So what does he do? Sends you
to the Tower of the Drafling for JumJum Juice! Not to worry,
however... there is plenty to be found and you are strong and
skilled in battle. I hope.
The Tower of the Drafling is magical castle that
sits high atop a hill in Rivervale. It is inhabited by Bixies and
Stone Hive workers. To enter it, you must first prove your worth
by doing work for another halfling, Bindo Halfbottom. If you have
not yet done so, bring a friend along that has. When first
approaching the Tower, you will see many guardians about... do
not fear. If you are unable to fight your way through, bring
along an invisibility spell. The guardians can be fooled in this
manner and you can sneak your way through.

When navigating through the Tower, it is
important to note that the creatures do not respawn. Therefore,
take time and care to find your way around and not get lost. The
inside of this place is a maze of hallways and hives. If you do
not properly mark your way around you may wander in here forever!
Search for the internal rail system that flows
through the Tower. This will lead you to the location of what you
seek for Rukir. However, be cautious, there are many creatures
that traverse the railways. You do not wish to get caught in a
fight where others might join in against you. Follow the train
tracks and take a left at the first intersection. There, you
should find the jum jum barrel.
Head back and speak with Rukir. He will ask you
to go back to Drafling tower, and locate the Queen's Chamber. So,
you will need to run back to tower and down to the Jum Jum Tap.
In front of the tap, there is a doorway which goes deeper. There
is a long downward tunnel for you to follow... about 200 steps
down that tunnel is a big hexagonal room. You may need to enter
the Chamber in order get a full description with which to give to
Rukir, but be careful! The Chamber contains some guardians that
will frequently appear. If you are not watching out for them you
may be surprised!
Once you dispatch the guardians, return to Rukir.
Drat! When you return to bring him the JumJum you
have obtained for the potion, an evil creature is waiting! Asajj
An'duuth, with her minions, appear to get rid of you once and for
all!

The fight is difficult, but you are strong! Well,
we can hope you are. Once you have taken care of the meddling
assassin, speak to Rukir and he will give you some vegetables to
give to his friend Franny. He asks that you hurry and deliver
them, and actually sets a time limit (five minutes)! Apparently,
the vegetables will spoil if you do not get them to Fanny right
away. She is located in the Fools Gold, (in the hut in Rivervale
near the zone in). It is the large inn directly in front of the
zone. She can be found up the stairs and behind the largish door.
Blast it all... the reason for the rush was the
poison he placed on the vegetables! Fanny dies and you must
return to Rukir. Demand to know what is going on!
Naturally, upon being confronted, Rukir will try
to attack you. Now his plot becomes clear...
Upon finally killing Rukir, you will receive the
Hierophant's Crook. Success is always richly rewarded!

Status Points: 53,250
NOTE: Before leaving the Tower
of the Drafling the first time, it may be a good idea to leave
half your party in the zone to hold the instance, while the other
half get the update. This will leave the zone cleared as you have
it, rather than forcing you to generate a new instance for the
next steps.
